Léopold ANCION MARX
It is about a small pocket revolver of closed frame, of type “puppy”. This weapon is with central percussion and of gauge 320. The grooved cylinder is equipped with 5 rooms. The hammer don’t has a peak, either it is of origin and is in double action or the peak of hammer was harassed and it weapon is in simple and double action? The folding trigger without trigger guard is slightly concave, its end is swell and pierced. The rifled bore is round with a front sight in half-moon. The rod of extraction swivels on an axis and must be introduced in turn into the rooms.
The grips consist of two plates in walnut squared. They are joined together by a transverse screw and two rivet washers.
The weapon carries the lawful punches of the proofhouse of LIEGE, namely:
ELG* in a crowned oval: final acceptance post 1893.
AH*: countermark of the controller post 1877.
R crowned: rifled bore, of use of 1894 to 1968.
The weapon carries other marks, namely:
