Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Knife revolver pinfire marked SB.
PINFIRE Knife-Revolver marked SB.
The caliber, of course invisible on photographs, is probably 5 or 7 mm.
The grip of the gun and knife is made of ivory.
The barrel is octagonal and the smooth cylinder is engraved, the whole gun being nickel plated.
This combination knife-revolver could be Ca .860.
I did not see any Liège stamps !
The SB stamp is unknown to me; if it's that of Liege, several gunsmiths of the period could be the manufacturer, without being able to be 100% sure. Let's add that this mark is stamped on the blade! Possibly the mark of the cutler?
Therefore, based on the date, and due to the fact that S is the initial of the first name and B the that of the family name, I have selected the following gun manufacturers:
* BERNARD-SIMON A. (BE 1842/1859)
* BERNARD Simon (BE 1836/1860)
* BERNARD S.J. - 5 patents from 1866 to 1870.
* BERTRAND Servais Ca. 1871.
* BURLET S. from Liege - 2 patents in 1873 and 1875.
*: Extracted from the Liege Who’s Who Arms manufacturers !
