Bosset Nicolas Jampsin

Round, smooth barrels in calibre 14.5 mm with silver back sight on each barrel. Flintlock signed "N. J. Bosset à Liège".

Slightly carved walnut stick with horn nose and embossed silver decorations. Wooden loading rod with retaining ring. Length 39 cm.

Nicolas-Jampsin Bosset is said to have been active between 1732 and 1749.  But other sources mention his death in 1741...

In any case, he has partnered with François Couna in 1732 to supply 25,000 rifles to Holland.
