Copy Auguste FRANCOTTE
It is about a small automatic pistol which is
obviously a copy of the
FRANCOTTE 6,35
Browning pistol (this one is visible on our site). This pistol is thus gauges of
6,35 mm and the magazine can contain 6 cartridges. A manual safety is installed
on the left side. What is curious, in fact the plates of grips are metal ?! I do
not have any idea of the utility of that.
Besides
the weapon does not carry any punch of the proofhouse of Liege nor of any
other!! That does not facilitate the identification.
It does
not carry either the least mark making it possible to identify the manufacturer.
Only
mark 3499 is visible, it acts in my opinion of classification of the weapon.
Indicate it an already significant number of parts manufactured or is this
intox, that arrived sometimes, I am unaware of it.
Here are
more questions than of answers but with impossible no one is not held.
