It is about a revolver with central percussion of type Smith & Wesson of manufacturing of Liège. The cylinder is with six shots. The rifled bore is with 8 sides with front sight in half-moon. The plates seem to me to be out of bakelite maintained by a central screw. They seem to carry a mark pointing out the well-known S&W.

The weapon carries the punches of the proofhouse of Liege is:

- ELG* in an oval vertical: final acceptance, of use of 1846 to 1893.

- S*: countermark of the controller, of use of 1877 to 1968.

The weapon also carries the following marks:

- SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD Mass. PATENT AP.5.55 July NOV. 6.59 24.83:  It is with my direction a copy original marking.

G in a circle: mark of manufacturer GHEURY. J. It is not (still) known of our documentation however stocked well!

N.B. : mark of under treating unknown.
