Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Meyers

Revolver MEYERS restoration income (the rod and its support were missing).

It has a box frame, and made of brass; some things make me think it may have been gold (no external or internal oxidation, no reaction to hydrochloric acid in some areas) but without certainty.

Caliber 12 mm pinfire.

Length 29 cm.

Stamp of Liège before 1893.

Punch N crowned before 1877.

Serial number: 47 on all pieces.

There is a punch on the front of the barrel (see photo), the meaning of which I do not know.

Here’s an amazing weapon!

It is signed Meyers: yes but which one?

The plates of grips are cut out of ivory and bear the number 8, also stamped on the chassis.

The hammer presents on the inner side a vertical ergot, suggesting an annular percussion (.22 ?) and trigger  (sensitive!) is a “button” under the barrel.

The total length of the gun is a little more than 10cm !!
