Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Manufacture Liégeoise d’Armes à Feu
Here is a garden rifle from the "Manufacture liégeoise d’armes à feu" with
octagonal barrel, in calibre 9 mm Flobert short in one shot. The barrel is
probably smooth. The percussion block contains the percussionist struck by the
outside hammer. Its opening causes the casing to be removed. The adjustment of
the semi-pistol stock leaves something to be desired.
It must also be said that these “garden” weapons are not luxury items. There is
a Hubertus Patent mark on the barrel,
a trademark registered by the Manufacture in 1893.
The markings
L under star:
countermark of a controller between 1877 and 1968
Peron: inspection since 1853
FL 9 M C: the calibre, the 9 mm Flobert short with annular percussion
ELG on star in crowned
oval: accepted between 1893 and 1968
ML under crown in an oval:
one of the trademarks of the Manufacture Liégeoise d’Armes à feu.

Pistol of the type ROLLING BLOCK to two barrels, similar but no identical to the pistol NAGANT of model Belgian Gendarmerie 1877.
It acts in both cases of an invention of brothers REMINGTON.
Caliber 500 is very big.
It carries the punches of the proof house of Liege is the PERON indicating the inspection of the weapon (1853 until today) and a P back spangled which is the countermark of the controller (1877/1968)
The weapon also carries the mark of the "MANUFACTURE LIEGEOISE D’ARMES A FEU" street of Vertbois, 54 in LIEGE largely evoked on the site. The mark represents a ML crowned in a drawn up oval, trade mark the 05.03.1903.
