Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Nagant 1895 "Modifié"
Here is a “transformed” version of a Nagant 1895 revolver without waste of gas
(the cylinder advances and the long sleeve is inserted into the barrel).
This is a weapon built by the Ishevsk arms manufacturer. After the war it was
repaired in the factory (see the punches and lashings) and it was finally
shortened and polished white, by a civilian armorer or a savvy amateur.
Note that the book “Les Revolvers et les fusils Nagant” (Claude Feys and René
Smeets) reports the existence of a “shortened” Nagant revolver in the
collections of the Royal Army Museum/War Heritage Museum in Brussels, but it is
less “shortened” than the one presented here, and it was actually intended for
the GPU, the political police.
The sheath of it, also "shortened" constitutes a "plus" for this revolver.
