PIROTTE veuve Jacquemart

Jacquemart-Pirotte, Joseph was an industrialist and arms manufacturer at the quay of Canal 28 in Herstal. It was entered in the registers of the proofhouse of Liège from 1908 to 1926.

From 1903 to 1911, he filed three patents for a hammerless rifle (with J.J.Maréchal), a rifle ejector and the Monobloc automatic pistol.

After his death, the company was taken over by his widow Mde Pirotte Veuve Jacquemart. It filed a new trademark “Sportex” on 12.05.1936.
