SCHOPEN G.

It is probably a rifle of infantry since a system of rail of fixing of a bayonet is present on the barrel.

The photographs do not give a report on any civil or military marking, only the mark of manufacturer SCHOPEN G à Liege which was a manufacturer of weapons registered with the proof house of Liege of 1857 to 1864.

It deposited a patent in 1859 for a double system of needle rifle of safety taking care by the breech.
