The box of breech carries English engravings to bouquets.
The stick out of wooden of drowning is cut with English also.
It carries the punches of the proofhouse of Liege, namely:
Spangled ELG in a crowned oval: post-1893 acceptance.
Y spangled: countermark of the controller post 1877.
Peron: inspection post 1853.

STASSART FABRICANT A LIEGE: it is about the mark of STASSART Leon, manufacturer of weapons, street of Herve, 417 to GRIVEGNEE-LIEGE. In 1936, it took again the activity of RIGA-STASSART Jean. Its mark was LS in a circle.
