Louis TILMAN
Lost in the countryside, the small village of Merdorp, the entity of Hannut, shelters a splendid arms manufacture very whole devoted to hunting.
It is indeed since 1965 that Mr. Louis TILMAN self made man whose reputation exceeded our borders, manages the S.A.ARMURERIE Louis TILMAN street Marsalle, 16 to 4280 MERDORP (Tél.081/85.54.55 - Fax 081/85.63.55)
The buildings are modern, vast and clear. As of the entry, you notice an important collection of hunting wears and accessories of all kind.
You reach then the double room of weapons where a splendid collection of new weapons of hunting and occasion awaits you, of which very famous rifles TILMAN.
These weapons with the perfect completion are assembled, regulated and finished within the workshop TILMAN which occupies two workmen.
The completion and the setting in wood are also carried here.
The workshop also occupies of repairs all marks.
Rifle TILMAN has the single characteristic which its job number is in fact the date of passage to the proof house of Liège.
The mark L TILMAN in small letters is struck the rocker.
Mr. TILMAN is an autodidact in the best meaning of the term; he surmounted goods hard tests to arrive of it at this result that well few better equipped people could not have reached.
In short, our visit was enriching from all points and we can only advise to return a small visit to this high character.
