Data according to the owner:

This revolver was manufactured during the 1860s or 1870s.

It has gutta percha grips.

The barrel is 60mm length. We are unsure of the caliber but it is smaller than .22, probably 5mm.

The left side of the barrel is marked Acier Fund. It operates in double action only and has a six shot cylinder.

It is 127mm overall length

Type Lefaucheux

Standard revolver of Liège manufacture type Lefaucheux.

Look at the rod of ejection well: the small transverse lines indicate that this part was badly remade starting from a nail of carpenter (wire nail). The restorer did not break it... to camouflage his work. The weapon was also cleaned, and final polishing finished evil.

It is a revolver with pin inhabitant of Liège, manufacturer not identified, markings ELG in an oval without crown (pre 1893), punches of controllers C spangled on the room, B spangled on the barrel (post 1877).

Caliber 9 mm, folding trigger.

Plates in "false ivory", made out of resin of copal fossil (amber), variety called "milky copal".

In this range of revolvers, the gauge 9 mm is the least current, and the 9 mm equipped with a folding relaxation can be regarded as rare.

Cal .40 (?)

Pin revolver of the type Lefaucheux

It acts here of a revolver of framework pocket open using the impossible to circumvent cartridge to pin invented by Lefaucheux.

Its origin is of Liège as the punch of the bench of test attests some on the cylinder.

Its trigger is without trigger guard and folding under the carcass to facilitate the setting out of pocket, the barrel is striped and the grips are in walnut polished.

The weapon was given color and nicely damascened to fine gold.
