FN 1922 with anchor
This pistol Browning FN 1910/22 marked of a navy anchor without cord was delivered to France as from November 1945.
Some of them, coming from weapons assembled with parts of stock carried the punches of Waffenamt (weapons manufactured with the FN under German occupation) with a seriazl number with prefix A.
The weapons provided thereafter carried plates out of wooden or bakelite and had or not a ring.
It was provided 90.000 specimens to the three weapons (Air – Navy - Infantry) and thus some weapons carry on the top of the slide an anchor.
