Ammunition F.N.

For the 2 silver boxes at the bottom of the photo, given the typical style of the cardboard, I would tend to say that they date from the second half of the 1930s.

The Legia box is the hardest to date: indeed, the brand was registered in 1933 by the FN, but I find traces of it in catalogues and advertisements up to the 1950s.

Perhaps there is a small warranty paper in the box with a date (even coded)?

Finally, the Diane yellow box.... The Diane trademark has been registered in Belgium on 3 or 4 occasions including:

- 1921 by the Cartoucherie Belge in Liège,

- 1933 by the FN. The Belgian Cartoucherie was absorbed by the FN in 1928 (if I am not mistaken).

I don’t find any trace of this brand FN after 1939 in my advertisements. So I think we can date it between 1933 and 1940.
