Karl Arndt Reck Sportwaffenfabrik of Lauf bei Nürnberg made this pistol in the 1955-65 period.
Know as the Reck P8, it sold widely in Europe and was also extensively exported to the USA, where it sold under names as La Fury and Chicago Cub.
The company was absorbed by a sporting goods conglomerate in the 1970s and now operates as the Reck Division of Umarex Sportwaffen, Arnsberg, making only starting and similar pistols.
