The Model 64A is the second improvement of the Model 64 (whose production was discontinued at the end of 1956).
The 64A was introduced in January 1972 and was
manufactured until December 1973.
The year of manufacture for this weapon is therefore
1972.
A total of 66,783 were manufactured between 1933 and
1957. Production was reinstated in 1972 and discontinued in 1973 after 8,259
weapons were manufactured.
