The weapon
Revolver of pocket of Liège to central percussion and box frame and falling cylinder. This one falls when one lowers the ring placed in front of the carcass.
The short barrel is round with a front sight in half-moon.
The grooved cylinder comprises 5 rooms.
The trigger without trigger guard is right and swell, it is folded up under the carcass for the setting out of pocket.
The stick consists of two plates out of wooden smoothes (Walnut ?) They are maintained by a transverse screw and two round rivet washers.
Punches
The weapon carries the lawful punches of the proofhouse of Liege, namely:
ELG on star in a crowned oval: final acceptance, of use of 1846 to 1893.
M spangled: countermark of the controller post 1877.
PV surmounted of a stylized lion: test with the powder without smoke, of use of 1898 to 1968.
Marks
This weapon carries mark L.A.M. in a triangle on the lock on the left-hand side. It is about a mark of the manufacturer of Liège Léopold ANCION-MARX street Grand Gagnage, 28-30 in LIEGE.
This company was registered with the proofhouse of Liège of 1890 to 1935. It deposited 11 patents, the majority concerning of small improvements (safety, carries rod, ejector etc)
I however could not find patent relating to this very relevant invention.
The firm also deposited seven trademarks of which the famous LAM in a triangle.
58 and 125 are serial numbers. They are on both sides of the mark and I am unaware of if they must be read like two numbers or only one?

The weapon
It is about a revolver of pocket of Liège manufacture to central percussion and box frame of type LINCOLN.
The short barrel is round with a back sight in half-moon.
The grooved cylinder comprises six rooms of gauge 320.
The loading is practiced by the right side door dropping thanks to the action of an internal spring.
Unloading is done using the metal rod swivelling on an axis and which one introduces in turn into the rooms to extract the casings from them.
The stick consists of two plates out of wooden smoothes decorated with two small palmettos. They are maintained by a transverse screw and two round rivet washers.
The weapon carries a light engraving foliage kind.

The weapon carries the lawful punches of the proofhouse of tests of Liege, namely:
ELG on star in a crowned oval: final acceptance, of use of 1846 to 1893.
B spangled: countermark of the controller post 1877.
Period of manufacture: between 1890 and 1893.

This company was registered with the proofhouse of Liège of 1890 to 1935. This company deposited 11 patents, the majority concerning of small improvements (safety, carries rod, ejector etc) so that it’s quite difficult, only on photographs, to determine to which patent this weapon corresponds.
The firm also deposited seven trademarks of which the famous LAM in a triangle.
