Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Arendt Maurice
Here is a six-shot pepperbox pinfire calibre 7mm :
ivory or bone grips, rod for ejection of the cartridges in the butt, folding
trigger.
The weapon was tested in Liège and in Germany, the
country of origin of Maurice Arendt, arms manufacturer, rue Trappé 8 in Liège,
registered on the proofhouse from 1857 to 1889. He was the holder of ten patents
filed between 1864 and 1885, including the patent number 20369 dated October 31,
1866 (attached) concerning the safety of the hammer used in the pepperbox in
question.
You can see two German hallmarks at once (on the
cylinder and on the frame) and, on the back of the cylinder, what looks very
much like the Liège hallmark ELG on a star in oval (in use from 1846 to 1893).
