Here is a pistol of salon with long octagonal barrel of
Liège manufacture, Renaissance grip, without system of ejection of the casing.
It’s as simple as that. Barrel rifled. Caliber 6 mm Flobert.
A mark
DF with an
arrow on the left can be seen on the gun.
This trademark was filed
on August 12, 1881 by
Dumoulin Frères,
Boulevard de la Sauvenière in Liège. They were enrolled in the BE between 1877
and 1894.
The markings
ELG on star in oval: accepted between 1846 and 1893
X under star: countermark a controller, in use between 1877 and 1968.
