Here is a beautifully percussion revolver bearing two signatures:
T. LHOIST and DAVID H
Patented, the former being more than likely the manufacturer, the latter the
patent applicant.
Markings
ELG on star in oval: accepted between 1846 and 1893;
V crowned: countermark of a controller between 1853 and 1877;
Concerning T. LHOIST, the one we are
interested in is a certain T. (Toussaint?) and maybe also T.J. (Toussaint?
Joseph ?).
