Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

LORON Henri
Here is a nice garden or salon rifle "with system" -
in this case called "with tap" - as we see few of it, due to Henri Calixte
Loron, born in Versailles in 1843, son of
Pierre Antoine
Loron de Liège, also an armourer and holder
of many patents. She shoots 6 mm annular percussion.
The first patent for this rifle was filed in Belgium on 14 January 1880 under
number 050286, and the second patent for the small ejection button of the casing
was filed on 11 May 1880 under number 051427. They had been deposited in France
(Saint-Etienne) a few days earlier, on January 3 and May 8, 1880, respectively,
by an intermediary, M. Delorme.
As the lucky owner of this rifle points out, the idea was taken up by BSA for
compressed air rifles at the beginning of the 20th century.
