Mahillon & C°

Victor-Charles Mahillon, born March 10, 1841 in Brussels and died June 17, 1924 in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat (France), was a Belgian instrument maker. He was the founder and first curator of the Instrument Museum of the Royal Conservatory of Music, now the Brussels Musical Instrument Museum.

A member of a family of instrument makers and music publishers, the son of Charles-Borromée Mahillon (1813-1887), his uncle Barthélemi (who founded the gunsmithing branch of the Mahillon company) and his son Fernand-Charles-Henri shared the same vocation.
