Rongé Jean-Baptiste
Here is a
very classic copy of the Colt revolver usually called “Brooklyn Bridge” because
of the “engraving” on the barrel.
A member
of the team wrote the following about these revolvers:
“These
lower quality copies were made by Clément, Rongé and others Massinger until the
early 1920s to meet the passing craze of that time for percussion weapons. These
have fancy markings like “cross keys” or “A crowned”, and texts like “American
Colt System” or the like. These copies are only worth what you want to dedicate
to them – when they are in good condition, which is rare.
