FN Uzi
A machine-gun designed by the Istraeliian Uziel Gal (where does the name UZI come from) in 1948 and manufactured initially by Israel Military Industry (IMI).
The breech has been designed by metal stamping, the handle and the stick are made of wood.
Around the 1950s, plastic appeared, as did the folding butt version.
In the 1960s the final version was adopted and a licence was granted to the F. N.
It is originally manufactured in 9 para but conversion kits exist in 45ACP and . 22LR.
