FNH M249S
Desirable FNH USA M249S Para Belt Fed Semi-Automatic Rifle with Case
Introduced c. 2016. The M249S is a semi-automatic only, closed bolt, version of the U.S. military issued M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), also made by Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FNH).
The M249 "para" variant was designed to fix the complaints from specific roles in the U.S. military of the standard M249 SAW being too long and too heavy for jumping out of aircraft and vehicle dismounts.
With its shortened barrel, collapsable stock, and light weight, it found common use with airborne and armored infantry and would continue to prove its lethality in close quarter combat operations.
From the Middle East to the Balkans to being currently deployed around the world, the M249 SAW and its variants have been an automatic rifleman’s best friend. Fitted with a bipod and collapsible "para" buttstock.
The
flash hider has been factory welded to the barrel. Includes one belt-fed 200
round plastic ammunition box magazine with belt links inside, a hard case, and
an one FNH STANAG 30 round magazine.
