Tout n'avait pas été dit dans le premier volume des « Armuriers de Liège en catalogues », loin s'en faut. 97 fabricants recensés en 1856, 174 en 1884 et 195 en 1909, auxquels il faut encore ajouter 75 manufactures de pièces d'armes et 13 de crosses de fusils, voilà qui justifiait amplement une suite. Le présent album évoque la production d'une vingtaine d'armuriers liégeois de 1898 aux environs de 1940. Le champ d'action est également élargi sur des fabricants d'armes extérieurs à la région liégeoise, tels que PIRE à Anvers, SPORCQ à Mons, et CAMILLERI à Alexandrie, et ayant gardé des liens commerciaux et parfois familiaux dans la cité ardente.

All had not been known as in the first volume of the “Arms manufacturers of Liege in catalogs”. 97 manufacturers listed in 1856, 174 in 1884 and 195 in 1909, for which it is still necessary to add 75 manufactures of parts of weapons and 13 of stocks of rifles, here which justified a continuation amply. This album evokes the production of a score of arms manufacturers of Liège of 1898 around 1940. The sphere of activity is also widened on manufacturers of weapons external with the area of Liège, such as PIRE with Antwerp, SPORCQ in Mons, and CAMILLERI in Alexandria, and having kept commercial and sometimes family bonds in the city of Liège.
