Les platines montre un cerf superbement entouré de feuillages, signé "J. Dossin Lovenberg".
Il est très intéressant de constater que ces deux maîtres aient signés conjointement "J. Dossin" et "Lovenberg".
Alain Lovenberg, le graveur mondialement célèbre, a confirmé que c'était la première arme qu'il a gravée, copiant une pièce du travail de son maître, J. Dossin.
DOSSIN Jean qui a été professeur de gravure à l'école d'armurerie de Liège du 16.03.1957 au 31.08.1991.

The sides of the action-body carved depicting a red stag and doe and the underside a fox surrounded by bold foliate-scrolls on a matt-ground, the trigger-plate signed 'J. Dossin Lovenberg'.
Interestingly the triggerplate is signed both 'J. Dossin' and 'Lovenberg'.
Alain Lovenberg, the world famous engraver, confirmed that this was the first gun that he engraved, copying a piece of work by his master, J. Dossin.
