Some of the most beautiful work of this craftsman, and many others, are in this book “Liège Gunmakers through their Work. 1800 - 1950”.

Larsen

By consulting the list of the patents I note that certain LARSEN August, domiciled with DRAMMEN (Norway), deposited several patents in Belgium between 1875 and 1883. Would dare I to suppose that it emigrated then in Liege to become LARSEN Auguste, domiciled street Courtois?

At the same time, certain LARSEN Hans, manufacturer of weapons, also domiciled with DRAMMEN, deposited also several patents between 1865 and 1883. The father of LARSEN Hans son, street of Bayards in Liege… in 1879?

There is also LARSEN H.C., street Trappé in Liege…

Then, Hans and August, father and son? brothers? cousins? Will know…

I will know some perhaps longer by consulting the patents… To follow, therefore.
